Scientists make our lives better. Who makes theirs better?
The
Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority’s (FRA) priority is providing for
the needs of the life science industry. The FRA is a partnership of the City
of Aurora and the University of Colorado and is responsible for overseeing
the creation of the Fitzsimons Life Science District as a world class environment
for life science companies. The FRA directs the commercial developments in
the District, including the Colorado Science +Technology Park at Fitzsimons,
along with its partner, Forest City Enterprises.
In
its oversight role, the FRA is dedicated to providing life science companies
an environment where they can thrive and resources to enhance their success,
including cost-effective incubator facilities and services as well as connections
between private industry and the University of Colorado.
A
variety of FRA-sponsored business seminars and networking events establish
and maintain crucial communications between life science companies and potential
investors. The result? A bioscience cluster of activities with a focus on
making life easier for emerging bioscience companies and creating a community
designed specifically to help life science companies flourish and grow.
